Keith

Keith was brought to us in November of 2018 by a long time client of ours. When he was brought in, he weighed one pound, and had an injury to his rear right leg. We fell in love with his exceptionally cute face and animated personality.  A technician dubbed him “Keith Winchester” and convinced Dr. Rusty to let us keep him and treat his injury. We tried to get the wound to heal, but by the time we were able to get rid of the infection, the tissues had already been compromised.

December of 2018, he had his leg amputated at 2 ½ pounds. He had a speedy recovery, and an even speedier run without his injured leg holding him back. Soon enough he was healed up and drifting the turns in the hospital at speeds previously unknown to tripod cats.

Now Keith lives a life well loved by all the employees at Clinton Keith. He enjoys his multiple treat breaks, the large window in our beautiful cat ward, and all the toys he's provided with by his many moms. His responsibilities include dusting under the cabinets, Churu quality control, providing moral support, part-time babysitting for employee pets and ensuring there are warm blankets available at all times.

When he is ready for retirement, one of our long time technicians will be taking him home to relax in his golden years. Until then he will keep working to help us keep our beautiful hospital in tip top shape!
